Dover’s McConnell Center Cafe (30 St. Thomas St) will be filled with prevention, treatment and recovery resources from 10am to 2pm.

Heroin Media Campaign

On Monday November 30th the Coalition partnered with the Dover Police Department and people in long term recovery from heroin addiction to record a radio Public Service Announcement campaign. The campaign is intended to help raise awareness about the heroin problem in our community and connect people with prevention, treatment and recovery resources.

The Garrison Wing at Wentworth-Douglass Hospital will be filled with prevention, treatment and recovery resources from 11am to 3pm.
Fall 2015 Drug Take Back Event

On Saturday, September 26th from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., the Dover Police Department and the Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) will give the public another opportunity to prevent prescription drug and opioid abuse and theft by ridding their homes of potentially dangerous expired, unused, and unwanted prescription drugs. Medications can be brought to the Dover Police Department at 46 Locust Street for disposal. The service is free, anonymous, and no questions will be asked.

Alcohol use among our nation’s youth is a significant public health and economic problem. In New Hampshire, underage alcohol use is the number one youth drug-problem and is six times more likely to kill young people than all illegal drugs combined.
