Students Launched Year Long Fridge Campaign

Today we are holding this demonstration in downtown Dover to raise awareness of how young children are getting alcohol. We believe that alcohol is too easily accessible by youth and we want to raise awareness among parents so they will take steps to prevent their kids from being tempted to try it or sneak it from the home.
Youth to Youth Endorsed as Promising Practice

Dover Youth to Youth was recently notified by the New Hampshire Center for Excellence that it has been officially designated as a “New Hampshire Promising Practice”. This designation follows a review by an expert research panel of the results of Dover’s research into the drug prevention program’s effectiveness.

During the 2013 Youth to Youth Summer Program students had the opportunity to create a variety of radio Public Service Announcements. We have to thank Cumulus New Hampshire (WOKQ, WSHK and WPKQ) for their support in recording the spots. The PSAs will air on the Cumulus network of stations in the coming weeks.
Dover Collects Over 300lbs of Unwanted Prescription Drugs

On Saturday April 27th the Dover Police Department, Dover Coalition for Youth and the Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) participated in the National Drug Take Back Program. The city claimed the top spot among other NH locations, collecting 315 pounds of potentially dangerous expired, unused, and unwanted prescription drugs. New Hampshire collected 5681 pounds total with 82 participating towns and cities.
